HS Winter Retreat - Winter Jam
Our High School Students, and a few Leaders, went up to Silver Birch Ranch in White Lake, WI, for Winter Jam 2022! This was a weekend full of growth, worship, and fun! We had a speaker share God’s Word, a band that led us in worship, and so many fun activities that Silver Birch Ranch provides like: broomball, horseback riding, an open gym for basketball & volleyball, cross-country skiing, and a Lodge to hangout in and play games and eat snacks and drink hot cocoa! We all had blast!
Christmas Eve Services
We enjoyed celebrating the birth of Jesus at our Christmas Eve Services. It's always such a beautiful moment when we sing Silent Night by candlelight.
S3-Second Saturday Serve - December
We started off by having coffee and breakfast
snacks, then began serving by packing food boxes and wrapping
Christmas presents from all the donations received from Share Joy with a Toy...our Christmas gift toy drive for local children in need in our community.
WLW Autumn Brunch
Women of Crossroads and their friends enjoyed a time of encouragement, fellowship with sisters in Christ, great food, and coffee! They gathered to chat about the exciting things God is doing in this season of Women’s Ministry here at Crossroads Community Church!
Anchor Flag Football/Kickball
Our MS & HS Students spent a chilly afternoon playing some flag football and kickball! They also enjoyed hotdogs, snacks, hot cocoa and cider while hanging out together! FUN was had by ALL!
Blessed a Family in Need
A need for a local family was expressed in Helping Hands...and the
people of Crossroads responded generously! Over 100 POUNDS of clothing, toys,
and childcare items were collected and delivered in one week!
Bake, Take, & Rake
We had over 250+ people come together to serve local Veterans in our community. We BAKE treats, TAKE notes of appreciation, and RAKE several Veteran’s yards each year! Always such a joy filled day!
WLW Autumn Brunch
Women Loving Well enjoyed a time of encouragement,
fellowship with sisters in Christ, great food, and don’t forget the coffee!
They gathered together to chat about the exciting
things God is doing in this season of Women’s Ministry!
Teacher Appreciation
Crossroads blessed a local elementary school by
providing lunch and an encouraging gift to all of the staff on their
"long" day of parent teacher conferences. We are so thankful for
their positive influence in the lives of these students.
Drive-Thru Food Drive
WOW did Crossroads show up! HUGE praise God and thank you to ALL who participated in our Drive-Thru Food Drive this year! We received enough food to stock our Food Pantry for about the next 7 months! Way to Love Well by Reaching Out, in Christ!
SYATP - See You At The Pole
We went out to a few school in our community for SYATP - See You At The Pole. We prayed with students, parents, and faculty for the schools, the community, and each person within the schools.
HS Paintball
Our High School Students spent an afternoon at Fox Paintball in Newark. They had a wonderful time outside enjoying the beautiful HOT day and just laughing and playing together. Such a great day!
MS Trampoline Park
Our Middle School Students enjoyed an evening at Altitude Trampoline Park and participated in all that they have to offer there: dodgeball, basketball, a foam pit, battle beam, and more! Also, some yummy pizza there for dinner! So FUN!
Anchor Food Box Packing
Over 30 youth and leaders joined together to
pack food boxes and prepare food for a local food pantry. It was a great night
of serving for ALL!!!
Tailgate Sunday
We had beautiful weather for our Tailgate Sunday! People enjoyed hotdogs, burgers, music, games, fellowship, & FUN, as we celebrated ALL that is going on here at Crossroads in our various ministries!
Outdoor Summer Baptisms
God gave us a beautiful afternoon for 18 people of all ages to choose to get Baptized…all RAISED INTO NEW LIFE!! Thank you to everyone who came out to support each of these brothers and sisters in Christ! What an amazing visual of the support God has in place for each of us! Awesome afternoon glorifying God!
S3-Second Saturday Serve
Thank you to all wjho came out for our S3-Second Saturday Serves this summer! We visit and eat a small wrapped breakfast snack
starting at 8:30am, then serve by packing food boxes and/or completing a
project to help those in our community from 9:00am-10:00am. The whole family is
welcome!
S.O.N. Summer Missional Serve
Serving Our Neighbor – Summer Missional Serve was a 5-day serve where we focused on serving local ministry partners from 7:00am-5:00pm each day for a week, starting and ending at Crossroads. This serve included adults and youth 12+ with a parent. They did home repairs, fed the hungry, helped the homeless, and blessed underserved children in a relational and safe way. Thank you to all who served and helped love our community well!
HS Mission Trip
Our HS Mission Trip to Cedar Springs,
MI gave our high school students an opportunity to participate in a week-long mission trip. On this trip they worked on some home repairs, as well as deepened their faith and their relationships with God
& each other. The theme was "Worth It". They looked at the idea of worth through the parable of the prodigal son. It was truly a life changing experience for many of our students!
Crossroads en Español Taquiza
After 3rd Service everyone headed over to Wells' Garden for a Taquiza and some soccer! We catered in some AMAZING tacos, and had a beautiful family style picnic in the garden. Then those who were interested went and played a good ol' game of soccer in the field!
kidTown Park Pick-Up & Popsicle Hand-Out
Our kidTown K-5 Grade Students were brought by parents to Wolf’s Crossing Community Park for park pick-up and popsicle hand-out to people at the park. This was a great outreach into the community and the people enjoying the park that morning got an added splash of Jesus in their day!
Crossroads en Español Kick-Off
We were so excited to have the official kick-off
of Crossroads en Español on Sunday, June 6th! This is just an addition service at Crossroads. We are all ONE CHURCH/UNA IGLESIA!! We look forward to seeing who God will bring to Crossroads through this added opportunity!
WLW Warrior Retreat
Our Women of Crossroads met in the Worship Center for an impactful time of worship, reflection, and teachings on prayer. They were empowered and equipped to become the prayer warrior God created them to be! This retreat included teaching on the women warriors of the Bible, breakout sessions from various teachers, a keynote speaker, and worship led by Crossroads’ very own band. It was a beautiful day all the way around!
Crosswalk | 1st - 5th Grade
Crosswalk Kid's Bible Study was enjoyed by some of our 1st-5th Graders who got to engage in their faith, learn more about Jesus, and become mission minded. This semester they dug into "Mystery Island" & "Incredible Race" to learn more about the power of God! They also focused on a Monthly Mission as well as games and activities. Lots of FUN was had by all!
S3- Second Saturday Serve
We had a great bunch of people come out for breakfast and then serving. We packed food boxes and beautified our church property by planting flowers and spreading mulch. The weather cooperated and we had a beautiful morning! This was a wonderful serve for the whole family!
Men's Paul & Timothy Breakfast
Men invited their Paul and/or Timothy to join them for a Men's Breakfast. Someone who has been an important spiritual influence to them, or someone they have been that for. These Paul/Timothy figures are crucial in a man’s walk with the Lord. They had a very nice morning celebrating with breakfast, teaching, and prayer!
